What does “verantwortungsvoll” mean?
The term claims especially considerate conduct toward the environment or society, often without a stated benchmark. As a general environmental claim it is only permitted under the EmpCo Directive with concrete, recognised and publicly accessible evidence. If a verifiable basis is missing, the advertising is assessed as misleading.
Why this term is risky
